FluentCRM 3.0: AI, SMS, and the Next Generation of WordPress Marketing Automation
A few months ago, we shared a preview of what was coming in FluentCRM 3.0.
At that point, we knew this release would be important. But honestly, we underestimated just how much it would reshape the product.
Today, FluentCRM 3.0 is finally here.
And this isn’t just another “major” release where we add a few features and move on.
What this release changes is how FluentCRM feels, performs, and scales inside WordPress.
From AI-powered workflows and SMS marketing to a completely redesigned dashboard and Gutenberg-native email builder, FluentCRM 3.0 represents a major shift in how marketing automation works inside WordPress.
The best part?
Every improvement in this release came directly from your feedback. You asked for faster workflows, better reporting, modern editing experiences, and more communication channels. And as always, we listened.
So grab a cup of coffee. There’s a lot to unpack!
FluentCRM 3.0 is for the Future
One of the biggest decisions we made while building FluentCRM 3.0 was rebuilding the entire application on Vue 3 and Element Plus.
Now, this probably doesn’t sound very exciting at first. But here’s why it matters:
With over 70,000+ users, FluentCRM’s use cases keep growing. And so does the complexity of workflows, automations, and edge cases. Simply adding more features on top of the old system would eventually slow down the experience people loved.
So instead of patching things like most software companies would do, we decided to rebuild the foundation. The result?
- A dashboard that loads incredibly fast and feels smoother than ever
- A cleaner, modern UI that brings everything to your fingertips
- Better responsiveness across devices
- And most importantly, a much stronger architecture built for long-term scalability
Honestly, you’ll feel the difference the moment you open the dashboard.
In many ways, FluentCRM 3.0 isn’t just about adding features. It’s about building the foundation for the next generation of WordPress-native marketing automation.
AI Designed for Real Marketing Work
Let’s start with the big news: FluentCRM is finally adding AI features!
And no, we’re not adding AI features just for the sake of having “AI features”.
What we wanted to do is solve actual workflow problems marketers deal with every day. Things like running out of email writing ideas, not knowing what’s next for a high-ticket contact, or interacting with CRM contact data.
That’s why FluentCRM 3.0 introduces AI features designed around one simple goal: Helping you move faster without losing control over your workflow.
25 MCP Tools for Popular LLMs
FluentCRM 3.0 introduces 25 MCP tools designed to help AI interact more intelligently with your CRM workflows. Connect AI with your contacts, campaigns, automations, customer activity, and CRM data to create more useful and context-aware experiences.

Use FluentCRM AI features with leading large language models and providers you already trust and use. This is designed to give you flexibility while keeping your AI workflows fully connected with your CRM. Get instant summaries, contact insights, and AI-generated responses without manually digging through CRM data and activity logs!
AI Email Writing
Writing emails consistently is hard, especially when you’re managing automations, campaigns, onboarding sequences, newsletters, promotions, and follow-ups at scale.
Now, FluentCRM can help generate full email content directly inside the email editor.
You can quickly draft welcome emails, promotional emails, product announcements, follow-up emails, newsletters, and more, and customize everything however you want.

AI Contact Summaries
FluentCRM already centralizes customer data from your website, ecommerce store, automations, support interactions, and more. But as contact activity grows, understanding everything quickly becomes harder.
What if you’re able to summarize it all in one click and understand the ideal next step for a contact in one go?
That’s what’s possible with our new AI Contact summary feature!

Instead of digging through endless contact data, now you can quickly understand contact behavior, engagement history, purchase activities, important interactions, and more in one click.
A Modern Email Builder That Finally Feels WordPress-Native
Let’s be honest, email builders often become a frustration point of your FluentCRM experience.
You want the flexibility of drag and drop, but you also need speed. You want beautiful emails, but you don’t want to fight the editor every time you create a campaign. So with FluentCRM 3.0, we completely rethought the email-building experience.
Full Gutenberg Compatibility
FluentCRM already had a block editor that was fast. It looked native on the surface. But when you looked deeper, it really wasn’t.
While you could technically create emails using blocks, you couldn’t fully replicate the experience you normally get inside WordPress.
Maybe you wanted to:
- Copy a section from a WordPress page
- Design custom layouts freely
- Use richer Gutenberg capabilities
- Reuse existing block-based designs
But doing those things often meant expecting layouts to break or behave inconsistently. With FluentCRM 3.0, that changes completely.
We rebuilt the email editor to be truly Gutenberg-native while keeping the speed and simplicity FluentCRM users already love.

Now, you can build emails using the same familiar WordPress editing experience without worrying about broken layouts or inconsistent rendering. The experience may look familiar at first glance. But once you start using it, the difference becomes immediately noticeable!
Reusable Email Patterns
Instead of rebuilding the same layouts repeatedly, you can now save email sections and entire layouts as reusable patterns. Whether you’re creating newsletters, promotional banners, product showcases, CTA sections, or complete header/footer layouts, you can now save them once and reuse them anytime.
For teams managing large numbers of campaigns, this dramatically speeds up content production while maintaining consistent branding across emails.

New Blocks and Additional Features
We also introduced several smaller improvements that make the overall email-building experience feel much smoother and more flexible.

- WooCommerce Product Grid: Showcase multiple WooCommerce products beautifully inside emails
- FluentCart Product Block: Insert FluentCart products directly into campaigns
- FluentCart Product Grid: Create product-focused ecommerce email layouts faster
- Latest Posts spacing controls: Fine-tune newsletter layout spacing easily
- Email footer styling controls: Customize footer appearance to match your branding
- Improved email rendering: Make emails appear more consistently across inboxes
SMS Marketing is Finally Inside FluentCRM
For years, FluentCRM focused heavily on email marketing automation. But modern communication doesn’t happen through email alone anymore.
Sometimes you need something more immediate. Whether you’re sending a shipping alert, a flash sale reminder, OTP, or a webinar notification, SMS helps you reach your audience fast. That’s why SMS marketing was one of the biggest priorities for FluentCRM 3.0.
And now, it’s officially here.
SMS Campaigns

Whether you’re announcing a flash sale, sending an event reminder, urgent updates, or limited-time offers, SMS campaigns now work naturally alongside your existing email campaigns.
And because FluentCRM already understands your audience segmentation, tags, lists, and automations, sending targeted SMS becomes incredibly easy.
SMS Automation Workflows

SMS becomes even more powerful when combined with automation. You can now trigger SMS messages directly inside your automation funnels. And this means you can combine them naturally with emails, delays, conditions, goals, and customer actions. Think workflows like:
- Customer abandons cart > Send an instant recovery SMS
- User completes purchase → Send shipping confirmation via SMS
- Subscription payment fails > Trigger billing reminder SMS
Instead of managing separate systems for email and SMS, everything now works together inside the same automation workflow.
Instant Replies and Incoming SMS
One of our favorite additions is incoming SMS support.
Traditionally, SMS tools are mostly one-directional. You send a message, the customer receives it, and the interaction ends there. But communication doesn’t really work like that anymore.

Now, customers can reply to your SMS messages, and you can continue the conversation directly inside FluentCRM. That creates a much more personal communication experience for eCommerce stores, agencies, membership businesses, and coaching platforms.
And honestly, it changes how personal SMS communication can feel inside WordPress.
Multiple Supported SMS Platforms

FluentCRM 3.0 currently supports Twilio integration for sending and receiving SMS messages. We also added support for AWS SMS services, giving businesses more flexibility depending on their infrastructure and sending requirements.
And this is only the beginning. WhatsApp marketing will be next, and we’re already exploring more communication possibilities!
A Completely Redesigned Dashboard and Reports System
Automation alone isn’t enough. You also need visibility.
When you’re managing campaigns, automations, customer journeys, SMS activity, ecommerce data, and growing contact lists, understanding what’s happening inside your business becomes just as important as running the workflows themselves.
And honestly, most reporting systems make it harder than easier.
Too much clutter. disconnected numbers, and reports that technically contain data but don’t actually help.
That’s why FluentCRM 3.0 introduces a completely redesigned dashboard and reporting experience.
A New Dashboard Experience
The dashboard is one of the first things you’ll notice after updating to FluentCRM 3.0. We rebuilt it to feel significantly faster, cleaner, and easier to understand at a glance.

The new dashboard now includes:
- Modern charts and graphs
- Better visual widgets
- Cleaner data cards
- Faster loading
- Improved spacing and layout
Instead of feeling overwhelming, the dashboard now helps surface the information that actually matters. And since FluentCRM 3.0 is built on Vue 3, the experience feels noticeably smoother while navigating between sections.
Revamped Reports From the Ground Up
We also completely revamped the reports module to become much more practical for everyday decision-making. Now you can track campaign, automation, contact growth, and engagement performances more clearly

We also improved how reports connect with the rest of FluentCRM. For example, you can now track list or tag-based growth directly from contact reports.

This may sound small, but it removes a surprising amount of friction during daily workflow management.
Better Visibility Across Devices
We spent a lot of time refining the overall reporting experience as well. This includes:
- Better dark mode support
- Better mobile responsiveness
- Improved report layouts
- Cleaner report cards
- Improved accessibility

These improvements may not sound flashy individually. But together, they make FluentCRM feel significantly easier to navigate and understand.
FluentCRM 3.0 Feels Faster Everywhere
Big features are exciting. But what shapes your daily experience inside a CRM are usually the smaller things. The clicks you repeat every day, the settings you constantly search for, or filters you use repeatedly…
While FluentCRM 3.0 introduces some major new capabilities, we also spent a huge amount of time improving the overall experience.
Frontend Portal Access
Traditionally, managing FluentCRM meant working directly inside the WordPress dashboard. But sometimes you just want a cleaner, more focused workspace for managing contacts, campaigns, automations, and customer interactions.
That’s exactly why we introduced Frontend Portal access in FluentCRM 3.0. You can now access FluentCRM directly from the frontend through a dedicated portal experience without relying entirely on the traditional WordPress admin interface.

Global Search
With FluentCRM’s expanding capabilities, navigation and organization mattered more than ever. So we introduced a completely new Global Search experience. You can now instantly search across contacts, campaigns, companies, automations, notes and CRM data.

Better Workflow Management
We also improved many of the workflows users interact with daily. One of the biggest improvements is the new floating bulk selection action bar, which makes managing large numbers of contacts and emails much easier.

We also refined import/export workflows, automation management UI, company profile management, and custom field ordering.
Improved Organization Across FluentCRM
In FluentCRM 3.0, we reorganized large parts of the plugin to make navigation feel much more intuitive. That includes improvements to settings structure, addons management, system admin tools, filter layouts, and much more.

Better Accessibility and Responsiveness
FluentCRM 3.0 also includes major accessibility and responsiveness improvements across the plugin. We improved keyboard navigation, dropdown interactions, mobile responsiveness, RTL compatibility, layout spacing, alignment, and more.
Whether you’re managing FluentCRM from a large desktop monitor or a smaller mobile device, the experience now feels much more polished and consistent.
Stability, Speed, and Reliability Improvements
Beyond the visible improvements, we also spent a lot of time improving the underlying systems powering FluentCRM. And of course, dozens of bug fixes and workflow improvements across the plugin.
Some of these changes are things you’ll notice immediately. Others quietly make FluentCRM feel smoother, faster, and more reliable every single day.
Ecommerce and Deliverability Upgrades
FluentCRM 3.0 also introduces several important ecommerce and deliverability upgrades.
FluentCart Abandoned Cart Recovery
We already had abandoned cart for WooCommerce. So why not for FluentCart?
Well now we do!
You can now recover abandoned carts directly through FluentCRM automations when using FluentCart. This allows you to create workflows like:
- Customer abandons cart> Send reminder email
- No purchase after 1 hour> Trigger follow-up SMS
- Customer completes purchase> Stop recovery sequence

Instead of relying on disconnected ecommerce tools, your recovery workflows now live directly inside WordPress.
Improved Bounce Handling
We also improved how FluentCRM handles soft and hard bounces. That means cleaner email lists, better deliverability, and more accurate subscriber management over time.
toSend Integration With Bounce Handling
FluentCRM now integrates with toSend while supporting bounce management workflows directly inside CRM. For growing businesses sending large numbers of emails, this creates a much smoother deliverability workflow directly inside FluentCRM.
Better Contact, CRM, Email, and Workflow Management
Some updates don’t deserve huge headlines, but they improve daily workflows tremendously. FluentCRM 3.0 includes many of those improvements too. Including:
- Dedicated email preference pages
- Company field group renaming
- Improved importer flow
- Better campaign analytics visibility
- Better Latest Posts block spacing
- Email footer styling controls
- Handy date range shortcuts
- Improved rendering consistency across emails
- Security hardening and XSS fixes
Individually, these may seem like small additions. But together, they make FluentCRM feel significantly more polished across everyday marketing workflows. And of course, we have fixed countless bugs and improved stability of the overall plugin.
The Beginning of a New Era…
FluentCRM 3.0 is easily one of the biggest releases we’ve ever shipped. But what excites us most isn’t just the features themselves. It’s what this release makes possible moving forward.
The Vue 3 rebuild gives FluentCRM a much stronger foundation for the future. A future where:
- AI works naturally inside marketing workflows
- Email and SMS work together seamlessly
- eCommerce automation becomes more connected
- Reporting becomes smarter and easier to understand
- CRM workflows feel faster, cleaner, and more scalable
And most importantly, a future where businesses can continue running powerful marketing automation directly inside WordPress.
That vision has always been at the heart of FluentCRM: ownership, flexibility, control and creating workflows that feel natural instead of complicated.
FluentCRM 3.0 is a major step toward that vision.
But this is still just the beginning. As always, the roadmap will continue to be shaped heavily by your feedback. So whether you’ve been using FluentCRM since the beginning or you’ve just recently joined the community:
Thank you. We genuinely can’t wait to see what you build with FluentCRM 3.0!
