In the previous documentation, we have learned about Primary Automation Triggers and Ecommerce Triggers. In this documentation we will be learning about Membership Triggers means that the plugins that enable membership, content restrictions, and other subscriptions on the WordPress website.
MemberPress #
There are 2 MemberPress triggers that are described below.
A member added to a membership level #
This funnel will begin when a member’s membership level is activated.
- Automation Name: Provide a Name for the Automation.
- Internal Description: A description that will be used as a subtitle in the Block Diagram in the Automation Editor.
- Subscription Status: Change the Subscription Status for the contact that submits the form according to FluentCRM Contacts Status.
- Target Membership Levels: Choose which Membership Levels to be checked for the trigger. Leaving it blank will run for all membership levels.
- Restart: Check this option if you want the automation to run multiple times for the contact that triggers the automation.
A Subscription expired #
When a MemberPress membership subscription expires, this funnel will begin.
- Automation Name: Provide a Name for the Automation.
- Internal Description: A description that will be used as a subtitle in the Block Diagram in the Automation Editor.
- Subscription Status: Change the Subscription Status for the contact that submits the form according to FluentCRM Contacts Status.
- Target Membership Levels: Choose which Membership Levels to be checked for the trigger. Leaving it blank will run for all membership levels.
- Restart: Check this option if you want the automation to run multiple times for the contact that triggers the automation.
Paid Membership Pro #
If you are using Paid Membership Pro, then you will also be able to start automation based on 2 triggers that are discussed below.
Membership Level Assignment of a User #
The funnel will start when a user is assigned to specified membership levels.
- Automation Name: Provide a Name for the Automation.
- Internal Description: A description that will be used as a subtitle in the Block Diagram in the Automation Editor.
- Subscription Status: Change the Subscription Status for the contact that submits the form according to FluentCRM Contacts Status.
- If Contact Already Exists: Specify what will happen if the subscriber already exists in the database. You can either update if the contact is already present in the FluentCRM Contacts which means recurring triggering for the automation or Skip the automation for this contact.
- Target Membership Levels: Choose which Membership Levels to be checked for the trigger. Leaving it blank will run for all membership levels.
- Restart: Check this option if you want the automation to run multiple times for the contact that triggers the automation.
Membership Level Expiration #
This funnel will start when a membership has expired for a user.
- Automation Name: Provide a Name for the Automation.
- Internal Description: A description that will be used as a subtitle in the Block Diagram in the Automation Editor.
- Subscription Status: Change the Subscription Status for the contact that submits the form according to FluentCRM Contacts Status.
- Target Membership Levels: Choose which Membership Levels to be checked for the trigger. Leaving it blank will run for all membership levels.
- Restart: Check this option if you want the automation to run multiple times for the contact that triggers the automation.

A Member Added to a Membership Level #

Membership Cancelled #
When a membership is canceled Automation can be initiated with this trigger.
- Automation Name: Provide a Name for the Automation.
- Internal Description: A description that will be used as a subtitle in the Block Diagram in the Automation Editor.
- Subscription Status: Change the Subscription Status for the contact that submits the form according to FluentCRM Contacts Status.
- Target Membership Levels: Choose which Membership Levels to be checked for the trigger. Leaving it blank will run for all membership levels.
